My goodness! I renounced pretty much everything last month. It’s not good of me to keep you, readers, in the dark. So here’s an update from the past few weeks and week assignments/normal assignments.

Week 4 of the second period (radio)

Our radio item ab0ut young people here.

An article about the Hermitage and Russian eggs: Hermitage kiest eieren voor zijn geld.

Week 5 Study week

An article about our trip to the Beeld en Geluid institute: Verslag Beeld en Geluid.

And a lot of pictures. And videos.

Week 6 of the second period (tv) (last week in 2009)

There are two parts to this assignment and I don’t have the video part, so that’ll have to wait. Here’s the article about non-spot commercial: Ok, I don’t have it yet, but it’ll be here soon.

Week 7 of the second period (radio) (first week in 2010)

It was last week that I was the director in chief of our week assignment about the journalist in seduction, when it comes to letting you pay by someone else than your employer. Here’s the item and here’s the article: De journalist in de verleiding.

And we had to write another column. So here’s that one also: Skileraren.

That’s it for now. Next week we’ll be enjoying a total buffer week with a lot of writing (portfolio) and learning (testweek) and pre-production (project week). The week after that I’m gonna be working on a television assignment as in Netwerk or NOVA. We’ll see!

It was rainy, very rainy, but we had a lot of fun!

Matthijs, Joey and Jan-Adriaan are the best.

This is our 10th week assignment!

UPDATE: 6,5

Here it is of one half of the group:

Group 1

1. Analyse van de verschillen en overeenkomsten in berichtgeving van kranten en radiozenders

2. Onderzoek naar verschillen en overeenkomsten in verwerving en beleving van het nieuws onder studenten

Group 2

1. Achtergrondartikel

2. Interviews

Hi there,

It has been a while since I posted here and there are some things going on. First of all: we still haven’t hold one camera or one microphone. That brings us to the second part: the lessons still are cool.

Especially the classes about radio: we have learned already a lot about radio (and television), about how many DJ’s make a year and why Nederland Zingt has those special lamps. (Go watch it first and I’ll tell you. 😉 )

And the week assignment of last week went well, I guess. I just did what was necessary and a little more extra and that was it. It gave me the opportunity to do some stuff for the Youth Group and other stuff.

This week’s assignment is going to walk in the soup, according to a Dutch saying. There’s chaos in every meeting, it’s not really clear what you’ve got to do because they communicate ‘chaos’ and people don’t take the chaoseditors seriously. So this week is called: ‘Chaosweek’.

I hope to post some posts for weblog-classes this week and to upload last week’s assignment. So you’ll be hearing from me soon.

Here it is, posted for everyone to see. The newspaper we’ve worked on for the last week. It costed us blood, sweat and tears, but WE WON! And that’s what matters. With a 7.5 we crushed J1B (7.1), J1A (6.8) and J1C (5.5)!

You can download it here: viaUtrecht. Have fun reading!

UPDATE: I GOT AN 8! For my ubereffort!

Here it is: I’m proud of the REDE Magazine. Enjoy and show it to your parents.

Hi there,

Once again I post another weekassignment. We’re discussing it right now, as we speak. So I am curious about the marks.

The PDF-file contains all of the six portraits we made about six churches.

Weekassignment 5

There I am again! At last! This week we had to visit some documentationplaces, for that is an official English word, and write an article about it. Including an interview with one of it’s employees. Some places were boring, some were more boring and one was AWESOME. So enjoy our adventures.

NEHA (ca. 30 kb)

NIOD (ca. 3 mb)

Het Utrechts Archief (ca. 8 mb)

UPDATE: NEHA: 6, Utrechts Archief: 7, NIOD: 8

Here it is! Our third assignment made by our group. It took us some time to put it together, to take off some interviews, to mail every part and so on, but again we can be proud!

UPDATE: After some nice feedback we got a 7. Nice.
